My first response about seeing this live cspan hearing today was “Haven’t they heard of the filthy rich mercs in Blackwater? US Vets ARE employed. They get first jobs pick in every “free market” US industry whenever they finally get over the shell shock of coming home” I figured the establishment Senators were just distracting us from their forecast #WIrecall bad press, since they let Barrett get outspent by Walker 8:1 while MSM bent the polls. I kept listening anyway and the hearing was actually instructive, much to the Senators chagrin.

Ted Daywalt CEO of @vetjobs1 said much the same thing “The only vets having a problem getting hired today are National Guardsmen (dubya hyper-activated them for Iraq and other “Peacekeeper” duties). Its because National Guardsmen are all 18-29 yrs old and the US 18-24 jobs market unemployment is 24% (ie, It imploded). Employers see them gone for 48 months out of 60 and look elsewhere. Fix the youth unemployment and you wont need a vet jobs bill (for Obama’s corporate Dems 2012 campaign).”

Sandy Sullivan @Mantech added “If you could stop the yanking of their security clearances w/ a bill that would help. All of our clients have to maintain those clearances.” She was making reference to the rampant veteran fraudclosure problem and pay day lenders having a field day on ruining the veterans’ credit, causing them to subsequently lose their government clearances. Sullivan is not the first one to make this suggestion, but the banksters are running Congress.

IMAO Since we have secret government by the banksters, offending them with a potential loss means the veteran must be enslaved by their low level lackeys in the petty finance fraud industries or else they can’t work for contractors. So the top 2 problems affecting US veteran unemployment are uncontrolled youth unemployment and fraudulent lending, neither of which will EVER be addressed by this government. Its a bipartisan snow job. They already sold the youth out. Neither Obama NOR Romney advisors will talk about a Millennial jobs plan, just more bankster bailouts into the future. The “job creators” are all happily looting the government while they starve the people.
