AnonTwi gives you:

• SSL encrypted layer to interact with Twitter’s API (against MItM attacks!)
• Proxy Socks handlering (for example, to connect to the TOR network)
• Privacy on your ‘User-Agent’, ‘Referer’ headers values
• Send long messages splitted automatically
• AES128 + Blowfish encryption on Tweets and DMs (with key sizes of: 16, 24 and 32 bytes)
• Automatic decryption of tweet’s urls or raw inputs

The code runs on many platforms. It requires Python and the following libraries:

• python-crypto – cryptographic algorithms and protocols for Python
• python-httplib2 – comprehensive HTTP client library written for Python
